20 Amp Monitoring Plugs and Connectors

Woodhead monitoring plugs and connectors let you determine whether or not a receptacle or extension cord is properly grounded and wired. It is the reliable and convenient way to really put portable hand lamps, power tools, and equipment to the test. The GCM (ground continuity monitor) connector satisfies OSHA's extension cord testing requirements under the Assured Equipment Grounding Conductor Program. When proper continuity of the grounding conductor is sensed, the connector will glow. By not lighting, the GCM connector alerts the user that there is a problem. The monitoring plug indicates that a receptacle is properly grounded and wired when its bright LED shines continuously.
